These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Regional Anesthesia Society of the Philippines (“RASPHIL”) website, online registration services, membership services, event registration system, and related online features.

By using the website or submitting a registration, you agree to these Terms.

1. About RASPHIL

RASPHIL provides professional, educational, membership, event, and administrative services related to regional anesthesia and related fields.

Information available through the website is intended primarily for professional, educational, organizational, and event-administration purposes.

2. Website Accounts and Profiles

Certain RASPHIL services may require you to create or maintain a profile.

You agree to provide information that is accurate, current, and complete.

You are responsible for protecting access to your account and for activity performed through your authenticated session.

You should notify RASPHIL if you believe your account or credentials have been accessed without authorization.

3. Professional and Membership Information

Some registrations, membership categories, discounts, or event prices may depend on professional status, training status, age category, membership status, or other eligibility requirements.

RASPHIL may request supporting information when reasonably necessary to verify eligibility.

Providing inaccurate or misleading information may result in:

• Correction of your registration category
• Adjustment of applicable fees
• Delayed approval
• Cancellation of an application or registration
• Administrative review

4. Event Registration

Submitting information on the website does not always mean that event participation is immediately confirmed.

A registration may pass through different stages, including:

• Registration created
• Payment pending
• Temporary capacity reservation
• Payment submitted
• Awaiting verification
• Payment verified
• Seat secured

Your final event place may depend on event capacity, successful payment, payment verification, and compliance with applicable registration requirements.

5. Temporary Seat Reservations

RASPHIL may temporarily reserve event capacity while you complete checkout or payment.

A temporary reservation:

• Is not a verified payment
• Is not a final confirmation of attendance
• Is not the same as a secured seat
• May expire if required payment steps are not completed within the stated period

After a valid payment submission is received, capacity may remain reserved while payment is being verified.

A final seat is confirmed only when the registration system indicates that the seat is secured.

6. Event Capacity

Events, workshops, masterclasses, or other activities may have limited capacity.

RASPHIL may stop accepting registrations when available capacity has been reached or temporarily reserved.

Availability shown on the website may change as registrations are completed, reservations expire, payments are verified, or registrations are cancelled.

7. Payments

You agree to provide accurate payment information when submitting a payment for verification.

Where bank transfer or another manual payment method is used, payment verification may not be immediate.

Submitting an “I Have Paid” form or similar payment notification does not by itself constitute confirmation that payment has been received or verified.

RASPHIL may request additional information when necessary to verify a transaction.

8. Pricing

Event, workshop, membership, and other fees may vary based on factors including:

• Registration period
• Membership status
• Professional category
• Training status
• Senior eligibility
• Selected workshops or activities

The price displayed and confirmed during the registration process will generally apply to that transaction unless an obvious technical or administrative error has occurred.

9. Membership

RASPHIL membership is separate from event registration unless otherwise expressly stated.

Membership applications, renewals, payments, and approvals may be subject to separate verification.

Payment of a membership fee does not necessarily mean that membership is immediately active if administrative approval is still required.

10. Event Changes

RASPHIL may make reasonable changes to:

• Event schedules
• Speakers
• Faculty
• Venues
• Program topics
• Workshop arrangements
• Event format
• Dates or times

when necessary due to operational, safety, faculty, venue, regulatory, or other circumstances.

Material changes will be communicated where reasonably practicable.

11. Educational Information

Content provided through RASPHIL events, materials, presentations, or the website is intended for educational and professional purposes.

It should not be treated as individualized medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

Clinical decisions remain the responsibility of appropriately qualified healthcare professionals.

12. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, website content, branding, event materials, graphics, documents, and related content are owned by or licensed to RASPHIL.

You may use materials for legitimate personal, educational, or professional purposes where permitted.

You may not reproduce, commercially exploit, redistribute, or misrepresent RASPHIL materials without permission where permission is required.

You agree not to:

• Submit false or fraudulent registrations
• Manipulate event capacity or reservation systems

RASPHIL may restrict access where misuse, fraud, abuse, or a security risk is reasonably suspected.
